South Arts' Emerging Traditional Artists Program provides grants up to $5,000 to individual artists in early career stages working in traditional arts across nine southeastern states. Applicants must be 18 or older, a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, with two-plus years residency in designated Appalachian counties or be a member of a state or federally recognized Native American tribe.
